WhatsApp Agents
Customers answered in seconds, on the app they already use.
In Israel, WhatsApp is where business actually happens, and it is usually the least organised channel a company has: one number, a phone in somebody's pocket, and no record of what was promised. We build agents on the WhatsApp Business API that answer, qualify, book and hand off to a person, with every conversation landing against the right record in the CRM.
- Inbound questions answered day and night, in Hebrew and English
- Leads qualified and routed before a salesperson opens the app
- Appointments booked straight into the calendar
- Documents and forms collected in the thread, no portal required
- A clean handoff to a person with the history attached
- Every conversation logged against the right record in the CRM
- A service agent that answers the repeat questions and hands the rest to a person
Getting onto the official API
This runs on the WhatsApp Business API through Meta, which means a verified business, an approved number and message templates reviewed before you can send them. It takes a couple of weeks and we handle it. The unofficial route, automating a phone with an unsanctioned library, is what gets numbers banned, and we will not build on it.
Hebrew, and why it is the hard part
Customers write in Hebrew, in slang, with typos, dropping English words in Latin letters mid-sentence, and sending a voice note instead of typing. Current models handle that well, which was not true 2 years ago. We test against real message logs from your own number rather than clean sample sentences, because the clean ones were never the problem.
Customer service, answered in seconds
Most of what a service inbox receives is the same twenty questions: opening hours, order status, what is covered, how to change an appointment, where the invoice is. An agent answers those the moment they arrive, at midnight and on a Friday, in the customer's own words rather than a menu tree. It reads your price list, your policy and your live systems, so the answer is the current one. Anything it has not seen, anything angry, and anything about money goes to a person with the whole conversation attached, so nobody starts from scratch.
When the agent steps back
An agent that will not let go of a conversation costs more than it saves. Ours hand over on an explicit request, after repeated confusion, on anything involving money or a complaint, and on any topic you name at kickoff. The handoff carries the transcript, so whoever picks it up does not ask the customer to start again.
Questions we get asked
Can it use our existing number?
Usually yes, and it has to be migrated onto the Business API, which means that number stops working in the regular WhatsApp app on a phone. That is the trade the platform imposes. Some clients keep the old number for existing relationships and launch the agent on a new one.
What does Meta charge?
Meta bills per conversation, and the rate depends on the category and the country. Replies to an inbound service message are the cheapest and marketing templates cost the most. The pricing model has changed more than once, so we model it against your real volume before you commit to anything.
Will customers know they are talking to a bot?
Yes, because we say so in the first message. Trying to pass it off as a person goes badly the moment it gets something wrong, and in practice the disclosure costs nothing.
What about WhatsApp groups?
The Business API does not support groups. Group automation only exists on the unofficial route, which is the one that gets numbers banned. If group communication is the actual requirement, that is a different build and worth a conversation before anyone promises anything.
